Within the airstrip terminals you will also find available car rental services in case you would want to tear through the African terrains in your own wheels. Frankly, a car hire is the way to go since you will have your own private means of travel plus you can get a personal guide to show you round the town.

Attractions in Livingstone

Africa is blessed with beauty unfathomable and if it is not the thrill of the wild safari, it has to be the history of the towns or the picturesque natural scenery. There is so much fun and thrill in Zambia you should definitely be a part.

  • The Victoria Falls - there has never been beauty so spectacular like the allure of the Victoria Falls. The falls are located right at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and they plummet downwards an entire 108meters. The beauty of this view is second to none as you witness the breathtaking avalanche of droplets hit the river floor and paint a rainbow with water sprays.
  • The Victorian Falls Bridge - when you move just a bit below the falls you will discover this mighty bridge built across the succeeding falls. The bridge stretches 198meters and is known for one unique sport; bungee jumping. Can you face your fears and kiss the Zambezi River below with a rope tied to your leg?
  • Livingstone Museum - it was formerly known as Dr Livingstone museum, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the age of the building. It is with no doubts the oldest in the Livingstone and it houses the cultural and historical heritage of the local Tonga people.
  • The Railway Museum - this museum was created to honor the history of the railway construction in Zambia. This museum houses, bits and pieces of the ancient trains used in the country, plus documentation and photos of the old steam ships. A perfect place to have some nice photos.

Zambia does a great job in representing the beauty of Africa. There are many other attractions within the city which you can explore in your car hire and document once you go back home.
